プロの英語教師とは
「英語教師」と「ネイティブスピーカー」の違いを考えたことはありますか？国際ランゲージスクールは、日本人が英語が上手くならないのにはこの点に問題があると信じています。
ブロークンな英語で話しても「なんとなく分かってくれる」のがネイティブスピーカー、「correct」してくれるのが英語教師。「なんとなく分かってくれる」のを頼りに商談や交渉はできないように、ただの「おしゃべり」ではビジネスシーンで通用する英語力は身に付きません。しっかり発音を矯正してくれる、より良い表現を教えてくれる、そんなレッスンを提供します。

In this global economy, English has emerged as the language of business. Foreign businesses are establishing themselves in Japan and Japanese companies are merging with American and European corporations. Year by year, English is increasingly an integral skill in doing business, both in Japan, and the rest of the world. Speaking English is thus a great advantage for ambitious people who want to be part of a global business.
But the English being spoken at corporate meetings via telephone or television conferences or in person is not simple, everyday conversational English. It is the English of educated, successful business people with high levels of education, MBAs, and years of experience.
We at KLS train business people to speak the language of educated professionals. We do this through an intensive system of listening practice, such as shadowing, speaking practice, and response drills. We train our students to build a strong foundation at the beginning level, and to polish their English skills at the advanced level so that they can communicate at the educated level as their foreign counterparts, focusing on techniques for discussion, negotiation and persuasion.

世界規模で経済が進展している中、英語はビジネス上の「必須言語」であることは明らかです。
海外企業の日本進出、日本企業と欧米企業のM&A等が相次ぐ中、国内外を問わず英語力の必要性がますます高まりつつあります。

私たち講師陣は、国際ランゲージスクールで教養のあるビジネスプロフェッショナルが使う言語としての「英語トレーニング」を行っています。リスニング練習の集中強化システム、「シャドーイング教授法」でスピーキングおよび瞬間反応練習等を行っています。 また、初級レベルの生徒には基本強化を、上級レベルの生徒にはブラッシュアップを行い、ディスカッションや交渉の場で必要とされる説得術の習得を目指します。この徹底したトレーニングを基に、外国人ビジネスマンと同等の教育レベルで意思疎通が可能となるのです。当校の生徒は「Professional English」の習得に真剣に取り組んでいます。

当校では、ビジネスシーンで困らないよう、「トレーニング」に重点を置き、徹底的に口の筋肉を鍛えて頂きます。なぜなら、トレーニングなしに実用的な英語力は身に付かないからです。実際のレッスンでは、オリジナルのドリルを使用してシャドーイングをはじめリピーティングが繰り返されます。もちろん正確なイントネーションや発音ができるよう、講師がひとつひとつ厳しく矯正しますので、より実践的な英語を学べます。
レッスン後、仕事帰りのビジネスパーソンは多少の疲労を感じることでしょう。しかし、その疲労感は「英語が口をついて出てくる」ことで報われ、英語力向上を自分自身で実感でき、自信がつくはずです。「トレーニング量は英語力に比例する」これが結論です。板書の内容をただ書き取る「勉強」は早く止めて、私たちと共に「トレーニング」しましょう！

I am originally from the Lake District in the North West of England. I first came to Japan on vacation, but after becoming ｆascinated with the place, I decided to return and apply my long-standing interest in studying ｔhe English ｌanguage to a career in teaching. My university major was English language and I hold a teaching certificate in TESOL. I have 6 years` teaching experience here in Japan, having worked at both private language schools and in a junior High School.

Mｙ name is John Fields and I come from Virginia state in America. I’ve been in Japan for nine years now, and have enjoyed it immensely. I have an interesting career path, as I worked in IT before coming to Japan, But decided long ago that teaching was where my future day. Prior to leaving America, one my most rewarding work experiences involved teaching Literacy to immigrants and this was a major factor in my decision to move here.
